Mahatma Gandhi Dental College and Hospital was established in the year 2003 to fulfill the aspirations of students and growing demand for education in dentistry in the state of Rajasthan. It is promoted by the India Education Trust and is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences And Technology, Jaipur which today is an epitome of quality healthcare through continuous research and development. The institute provides outstanding and affordable dental care in a patient-friendly environment in the spirit of compassion for all, regardless of race, caste, religion or economic condition.

About Dental College
Over the years, due to its focus and perseverance, the institute has earned recognition and reputation at the national level. Currently, it runs undergraduate course with annual admission of 60 seats and postgraduate course with annual admission of 31 seats in 7 specialities. Both the undergraduate and post graduate courses are recognized by the Dental Council of India.
The college also runs the University Advanced Post Graduate Certificate Course in Oral Implantology of 10 months duration, in association of Nobel Biocare, India with 15 admissions per batch. The College is also recognized by the Dental Council of India to run Dental Mechanics and Dental Hygienist certificate courses with annual admission of 15 seats each.
The college is situated within the 36.5 acre University Campus located in the Institutional Area of Sitapura on the Jaipur-Kota Highway, 9 km from the Sanganer International Airport. The campus includes the Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital which is considered one of the premier medical institutes of the country. The campus boasts of green surroundings, Wi-Fi facility, sports and gym facilities hostels for students and housing for the faculty.
The college, with its student friendly and highly qualified faculty provides a congenial environment for the students to grow academically. The college shows zero tolerance to ragging and has a dedicated anti-ragging squad and committee to ensure a safe and comfortable atmosphere to the students.
The college is well equipped with advanced materials and equipment to cater the needs of patients for all types of dental treatments. It has a spacious library with extensive collection of books and journals. It also provides a reading room and computer room with online access to the journals. An in-house Tagore auditorium with 200 seating and the R.L Swarankar auditorium in the campus with 800 seating capacity and excellent audiovisual facilities caters to all scientific and cultural meetings which are regularly held.
The college provides well-constructed and well maintained separate hostels for girls and boys with 24 hours security. They are provided with Mess facilities for their daily healthy meals. Campus is provided with areas for other recreational activities like Gym, badminton court, volleyball court, Tennis court and a ground for football and cricket.
