Tele Services

Telemedicine as per the current scenario is one of the vital pillars of healthcare.

This is not only helpful in distributing hospital loads to care for the needy but also helps the doctor patient interaction in remote in-accessible areas. MGUMST prides itself in being one of the premier-most institutions to be associated with government and non-government agencies in telemedicine projects.

In 2014 the Mahatma Gandhi hospital was designated, as the nodal centre for Telemedicine consultations by the government of Rajasthan and the program was inaugurated by Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan, VasundharaRaje.

At the initial about 100+ Tele Caller nodes were activated which increased to 300 in the COVID times. In 2017 Glocal Healthcare Pvt Ltd created the Mahatma Gandhi Hospital as a centre site for Telemedicine consultations of Rajasthan Telemedicine project.
