The courses in this program focus on cultivating interpersonal skills, emphasizing the emotional quotient that influences an individual's relationships. An Introductory Meet involving students, parents, and MGUMST authorities and faculties was organized to kickstart this initiative. The adoption of MOODLE (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) was implemented to transform MGUMST into a paperless institution, aligning with the 'Go Green Initiative' and promoting blended learning.

Additionally, a comprehensive Continuing Medical Education (CME) event on the "Importance of Consent in Medical Practice" was conducted to raise awareness about informed consent and related medico-legal issues. International Nurses Day is observed annually on May 12th, celebrated by both faculty and students.

Language and Communication Skills Development

MGUMST offers a 3-month optional English Language quality program for undergraduate students, focusing on enhancing industry-specific vocabulary, scientific writing skills, grammatical structures, and medical idioms relevant to the medical field.

A session on "The Art of Scientific Communication – How to present" was organized to instill effective communication skills. A fresher’s event is celebrated to strengthen the bond between senior and junior students.

MGUMST conducts various pre-conference workshops and national/international conferences to foster the personal and professional development of medical students. The university also organizes a Telemedicine program to enhance healthcare services in rural Rajasthan, with students conducting health surveys in these areas. Oration programs aim to promote the holistic development of medical students, and a Passport Awareness Program was conducted to guide interested students and staff through the passport issuance process by officials from the Regional Passport Office, Jaipur.

Under the supervision of the Dean, Academics and Research, MGUMST conducts a weekly Combined Clinical Round (CCR) program, providing a platform for discussing various clinical aspects, cases, and rare disorders across specialties. This initiative ensures that postgraduate students and healthcare professionals stay updated on recent advances in medicine to provide holistic and multi-specialty care to patients.

The ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) Instructor Course is a value-added program incorporating interactive lectures, group discussions, triage scenarios, and practical skill assessments for faculty and postgraduate students. Students of MGIHI pursue on-the-job training and industrial visits to gain practical experience. Additionally, a session on Research Methodology was organized to familiarize budding research scholars with the basics of biomedical research.
