Dr. A. K. Sharma, currently serving as the Registrar of Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences and Technology, Jaipur, brings extensive experience in university administration to his role. Prior to joining the university in 2012, he dedicated 27 years of service to the University of Rajasthan, holding various positions such as Deputy Registrar and Administrative Secretary to the Vice-Chancellor.
Dr. Sharma holds a Ph.D. and has served as a faculty member in several institutions. His academic achievements include being awarded a French Government fellowship for a two-year Post-Doctoral Research stint at "Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique" in Versailles, Paris, France. He has authored numerous research papers on plant diseases published in both National and International Journals. Dr. Sharma has actively participated in various National and International Seminars, Conferences, and Workshops, gaining valuable insights during his time at Pasteur Institute, Paris, and INRA Bordeaux, France.
Proficient in German and French languages, Dr. Sharma earned Certificates, Diplomas, and Post-Diplomas from the University of Rajasthan. He holds an executive position in the Indo-French Society. Notably, for his outstanding contributions in the Examination Secrecy Department, he was honored by the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Rajasthan as one of the best officers in the university.
