Mr. T.R. Bajalia is the Advisor and Independent Professional Director, currently serving on the Boards of Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) involved in SME Lending and Housing Finance. He also provides advisory support to a debt resolution company working through the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), a manufacturing business, and a trust focused on medical science and hospital services.
Previously, Mr. Bajalia held the position of Deputy Managing Director at the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), served as Executive Director at the Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI), and worked as an Officer at the Bank of India.
Mr. Bajalia holds a degree in Economics and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (AICWA) as well as a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB). He has served on an RBI-constituted committee for restructuring small and medium enterprises and has been appointed as a nominee director for several State-Level Financial Institutions, Technical Consultancy Organizations, and large corporates. Additionally, he is a member of the Corporate Debt Restructuring (CDR) Empowered Group, focusing on the restructuring of large businesses facing viability challenges.
