Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) is one of the important postgraduate courses in Psychiatry provided at the Institute to the doctors after MBBS. It is a full time 03 years course and includes advanced training and practice in newer biological modalities used to treat psychiatric disorders. The course is designed very comprehensively with a goal to develop a medical doctor who is well proficient in the field of mental health

A post graduated psychiatrist can also prepare for superspeciality D.M. courses offered in different colleges in Country and abroad after clearing NEET-SS / INICET-SS / MRCPsych exam. Superspeciality can be done in – geriatric psychiatry, child psychiatry, de-addiction, psychiatry, forensic psychiatry. .
