Department of Traumatology and surgery in MGUMST was founded in year 2022 with annual intake of 1 resident per year . It was a proud privilege for MGUMST to give to the country the a separate department of trauma surgery for excellence in holistic care of trauma victims.The total bed strength of the department is 20 beds. The department has 1 major emergency operation theatre with state of the art equipment and facilities, which provide the best operative intervention for the patients of trauma.
