I joined Mahatma Gandhi Dental College and Hospital in the year 2015 to pursue Under graduation course and then rejoined the Department of Orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics for postgraduate programme in the year 2021.

My first impression of being in the campus was the huge infrastructure and medical hospital. Since the dental college is a part of Mahatma Gandhi University, it adds an advantage of learning about various other fields which constitute the university.

Another advantage is that our dental college is affiliated to the medical hospital as well which helps in attracting more patients (OPD). Hence, we were able to learn more since we had lots of patients to deal with. The college works as a team in all situations and all the departments have good inter communication.

The staff always provides help whenever needed. Not only in the academics, the college outshines in outdoor and non academic activities as well. Every festival is celebrated together like a family. Which gives us a feeling of being at home away from our home.

The academic pattern of the college is made as such that students can focus both on theoretical as well as practical knowledge.

To conclude, three years of my masters program has made me gain confidence in my practical skills as well as my personality development. All the credit goes to the staff and the university to provide us with the opportunity to learn and grow.
