Dr. Gourav Goyal is presently Associate professor, Department of Neurology of the Mahatma Gandhi College Hospital, Jaipur. He is working full time at the MGMCH. The Mahatma Gandhi Medical College Hospital is 1400 bedded, one of the leading tertiary care teaching and patient care center of North India, and the largest in the private sector. Dr. Goyal is graduated from the SMS Medical College with distinction in many subjects. He completed his post-graduation in 2007 from one of the India’s premiere institute PGIMER Chandigarh. He got the silver medal for his academic achievement.

He did his DM course in Neurology (from 2009 to 2012) from SGPGIMS, Lucknow. He was awarded “Best resident award” for academic and patient care performance during his DM course. After completion of DM course, he joined fellowship programme in Interventional neurology and Stroke.  After completion of fellowship, He joined Mahatma Gandhi medical college and hospital as an assistant professor in Department of Neurology in 2014. Dr. Goyal has experience of more than a decade for treating neurological and vascular neurology patients. He has performed more than 500 neurointervention procedures including diagnostic cerebral angiography, Intracranial aneurysmal coiling, Embolization of AV malformation, Embolization of spinal and cerebral dural AV fistulas and Carotid stenting. Dr. Goyal is keenly interested in clinical research. He has published more than 30 papers in many national and international esteemed journals. His main clinical and research interest area is vascular neurology, interventional neurology and pain.
