With a focus on providing quality education and training, the college has gained national recognition for its academic programmes Located within the sprawling 36.5 acre University Campus in the institutional area of Sitapura, Jaipur, in the vicinity Sanganer International Airport, the college adds up to the convenience of students and faculty members alike.

The college currently offers an undergraduate programme in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) with an annual intake of 100 seats, as well as a postgraduate programme in Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) with an annual intake of 31 seats across 7 different specialisations. Both programmes are approved by the Dental Council of India, ensuring that students receive the highest standards of education and training under the professional team.

In addition to the regular academic programmes, the college also offers a postgraduate certificate course in oral implantology in collaboration with Nobel Biocare, India. This 10-month long course has 15 admissions per batch and provides students with specialised training in the field of oral implantology.

Furthermore, Mahatma Gandhi Dental College and Hospital is authorised by the Dental Council of India to conduct diploma courses in dental mechanics and dental hygienist, with an annual intake of 15 seats in each course. These courses provide students with practical skills and knowledge to excel in their respective fields.

It has various clubs and societies catering to different interests such as music, dance, drama, photography, and sports. Moreover, it also organises various events and competitions throughout the year to bring out the talents of the students and provide them a platform to showcase their skills.

This is reinforced by the presence of a dedicated anti-ragging squad and committee, ensuring that all students feel safe and comfortable on campus.

Moreover, the college's facilities are top-notch. The dental clinic is equipped with advanced equipment and materials to cater to the needs of patients requiring various types of dental treatments. The library is a treasure trove of knowledge, with an extensive collection of books and journals. The students also have access to a reading and computer room with research journal material available on online platforms as well.

The campus features four air-conditioned lecture theatres, each equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual facilities, ensuring that students have a conducive learning environment.

Additionally, the R.L Swarankar auditorium, with its 800 seating capacity and audio-visual facilities, caters to all the various scientific and cultural meetings that are regularly held on campus. Accommodation for students is also well taken care of, with separate hostels for girls and boys that are well-constructed and maintained. These hostels come with 24-hour security and Mess facilities to ensure that students have access to healthy meals.

Furthermore, the campus offers recreational facilities such as a gym, badminton court, volleyball court, tennis court, and a ground for football and cricket, allowing students to stay active and socialise outside of their academic pursuits.
