Mahatma Gandhi Physiotherapy College, established in 2005, has been a pioneer in the field of physiotherapy education.

Further in 2011, it became a constituent college affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology. Expanding its educational offerings, the college introduced the Master in Physiotherapy (MPT) programme in 2012, followed by the Ph.D programme in 2016.

The MPT programme at Mahatma Gandhi Physiotherapy College offers specialisations in four key areas namely, Orthopedics, Neurology, Cardiopulmonary, and Sports. This diverse range of specialisations grants students the opportunity to focus on their areas of interest and develop expertise in specific areas of physiotherapy.

Attached with Mahatma Gandhi Hospital (MGH), the college boasts of a 1450-bed capacity with treatments under multi-specialty and super-specialty realm. MGH allows students to gain valuable hands-on experience in a clinical setting, working as a team with experienced physiotherapists and healthcare professionals. The college's advanced physiotherapy laboratories, departments, and outpatient department (OPD) provide students the access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, enabling them to enhance their practical skills and knowledge.
