Various departments of Mahatma Gandhi Medical College has an excellent museum with a vast collection of different specimens, charts, models, etc contributing immensely to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

The medical students are encouraged to visit the museum.

Dissection Hall
A unique place where “The Dead Teaches the Living”. The Dissection hall of anatomy is well spacious, fully air-conditioned with adequate light source to accommodate 250 students capacity.

Sufficient quantity of cadaver storage , cold storage, cadaver preparations & bones etc. Cadavers are available adequately and the students will be motivated to develop their skill in dissection so as to understand the intricacy of human architecture.

More than 100 binocular microscope and slides of all system are available in Histology Lab. Unique feature of dissection hall is provided with Virtual Anatomy Cadaver Dissection Table for anatomy education.

There is a section on comparative anatomy, where a large collection of animals and their skeletons, bones are displayed. For a practical training, there are adequate number of cadavers, museum specimens, models & Histology slides. The students are guided through extensively and precisely planned instructions.

Microbiology Museum

Department of Microbiology have a well spacious museum for practical learning, adequate number of charts, specimens, models are available for the undergraduate students for better understanding the subject.

Community Medicine
Department of Community Medicine have a spacious museum for practical teaching,

Well stocked with charts, models/specimen and exhibits and instruments with sections on: Nutrition, environment- water, air, sewage, helminths, insects, pesticides, Mother & Child Health and family welfare, vaccines etc. A passage is having more than 100 charts mostly prepared by the students on various important topics of Community Medicine, helping all to learn.

Pathology Museumy
Pathology Museum

The museum of Pathology have sufficient number of diseased body parts and organs. The section on life-style related diseases displays specimens of diseases that occur in humans.

Pharmacology Museum

Pharmacology museum has a display of adequate number of specimens, charts, models and in addition computers and seating area is also available for students.

Forensic Medicine
Forensic Medicine Museum also contains flow charts, photographs, and models of various aspects of forensic medicine.

Toxicological specimens are also part of the department museum. Important cases which were milestones in the history of Forensic medicine is also depicted with photographs and description.
