The Department of Pharmacology was established in the year 2001 with the teaching of 100 MBBS students. Since then, in the last 2 decades, the department has evolved with now teaching 250 MBBS and 4 MD Pharmacology students annually.

The department also offers PhD & M.Sc, (Med.) Pharmacology.
