MGUMST offers the country’s broadest range of education in medicine and health sciences. The Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology is a premier centre for the diagnosis and treatment of all skin, hair and nail conditions. It offers a comprehensive range of services to patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly.

The Department has
  • 20 bedded

    both in patient ward and in daycare ward

admits a variety of dermatological illnesses including all dermatological emergencies.

The department is committed to excellence in patient care, education and research. It strives to provide the best possible outcomes for our patients and to advance the field of dermatology through clinical trials and publications. It has been running the MD Program with an annual intake of 5 candidates. It also runs a 1-year Post graduate certificate course in Dermatology and a PhD programme in Dermatology
