IAP Certified BLS Course in Paediatrics

We offer the prestigious Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP) certified Basic Life Support (BLS) course, providing students with essential training in paediatric emergency care, aligning with international standards.

Bone Marrow Transplantation

With an outstanding record of 190 bone marrow transplants and a remarkable survival rate of 90%, our unit stands at the forefront of bone marrow transplantation, particularly for thalassaemic patients. Postgraduate students receive hands-on training, contributing to the excellence of future paediatricians.

Telemedicine

During challenging times, such as the lockdown period, our department played a pivotal role in providing telemedicine services to more than a hundred paediatric patients. Continuous parental counselling enhanced the effectiveness of our telemedicine initiatives, which continue to be available to date.

Infrastructure
  • Air-conditioned Paediatric Wards: Our 120-bedded paediatric wards offer a comfortable environment for patients and their families, ensuring a conducive healing atmosphere.
  • Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU): Equipped with advanced HFO Machines, CPAP Machines, and LED Phototherapy Machine, our NICU provides specialized care for new-borns requiring intensive support.
  • Paediatric Advance Intensive Care Unit (PICU): Our PICU is equipped with ventilators, HFNC, paediatric haemodialysis, and facilities for solid organ transplant care, catering to critically ill paediatric patients.
  • Six-Bedded Bone Marrow Transplant Unit: With dedicated facilities and expert staff, our bone marrow transplant unit offers comprehensive care for patients undergoing transplant procedures.
  • Neonatal Intensive Care: Our NICU is dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of premature babies, providing them with specialized care to thrive and grow into healthy infants.
  • Paediatric Ward: The ambiance of our paediatric ward is designed to provide comfort and alleviate the pain of young patients, fostering a positive healing experience.
Additional Facilities

In addition to clinical services, we provide facilities such as a seminar room and departmental library, enhancing the educational experience and research capabilities of our students and faculty members.
