This is to reflect on 21 Years of Growth and Looking Ahead to a Future of Innovation in Pediatric Care with pride at our collective achievements and the journey that has brought all of us here together.

Clinical Excellence: Over the past two decades, we have significantly enhanced the quality of our clinical care. Our efforts have not only expanded services across specialties like but also improved patient outcomes dramatically. The introduction of cutting-edge technologies and treatment protocols in our ICU and general wards has set new standards in patient care.

Academic Growth: Academically, we are heading towards developing a robust program that shall support both our residents and fellows, fostering a learning environment that encourages enquiry and excellence.

Research Advancements: Our commitment to research has yielded substantial advances, particularly in the fields of rare diseases, pediatric neurology, gastroenterology, haematology, intensive care, neonatal care and chronic diseases. We have built strong collaborative research networks that have propelled us forward, bringing research from bench to bedside.

I look forward on aiming to further enhance our academic programs by updating our curriculum to include the latest in medical education technology and teaching methodologies. Additionally, we will expand our research endeavors, focusing particularly on the areas of genetics, ICU care, ward care, and clinical skills. These areas are critical for advancing our understanding of complex pediatric conditions and developing innovative treatments.
